Shavodka McNutt
Academically, Shavodka's extensive course work in the education department at Mississippi State University has allowed her to gain an understanding and appreciation for the education KinderCare pursues. She is overjoyed to be a part of the KinderCare Learning Center of Bartlett’s family. She looks forward to working with the children, parents, community, and stakeholders. Shavodka hopes to build a solid foundation for each child so that they will become successful, productive learners throughout their school years. She has many new ideas to implement here at the Bartlett location that will ensure each individual who walks through the door will be enriched, enlightened, and educated. It is a dream of hers that the children she reaches will become dynamic in whatever they desire to do in life. She looks forward to seeing the smiling faces of our children and families each and every day.

<p>I have been working with KinderCare Learning Center since May 1993 and have loved every minute of it. I have a CDA and many hours of training in Early Childhood and I attended University of Memphis pursuing a degree in Elementary Education. I treat each and every child as my own. I previously worked at our Knight Arnold KinderCare and our Mt. Moriah KinderCare, I joined the wonderful team at Bartlett KinderCare as their Assistant Director in Feb of this year. Infants are so much fun. I love the way they learn new things each day. Seeing their eyes light up when they are doing an activity that they enjoy or one that is a new experience for them makes me happy. I have been working with KinderCare for many years and enjoy my job. Children are our biggest assets we must teach and nurture them to be the best they can be.
